i credit BARBIE with the beginning of my LOVE of FASHION,HAIR and MAKEUP. my best friends daughter has a slight obsession with AMERICAN GIRL. i guess that is the BARBIE for this generation of young ones. a much more clean and wholesome version..don't you think? BARBIE was a WOMAN when we loved her as children, far out concept for that time,don't you think? i couldn't picture someone thinking up the idea that little girls would want a doll that was already an adult? abstract concept turned into MILLIONS AND BILLIONS of AMAZINGNESS for MATTEL.
